—This five-piece Indiana band’s debut CD is most intriguing. Its sound, particularly on this title tune, manages to be basic and rootsy, yet sophisticated and jazzy at the same time. I can see this mixture of solo electric guitar with acoustic instruments appealing to jam-band fans, Americana programmers, folkies and rockers. Refreshing and recommended.

Remember the rippin guitar and tribal drums sounds of the early 70s, bands like Santana, Little Feat, Allman Brothers and ZZ Top? Peppertown does. Over the last three years this 5 piece band out of southeastern Indiana has made a name for itself across the country. Being featured on many radio stations and magazines in the US and abroad, Peppertown has toured its way into the hearts of America. A rockin blues influenced sound continues to evolve and is a favorite of rock, country, and jam band fans alike. The members of Peppertown have shared the stage with the likes of, Hank Williams Jr, John Michael Montgomery, Dave Mason, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Smithereens, and many others.
