Bio

This is the second foray into music for Partner, David Keogh. He's a former music journo., theatrical agent, band manager, venue booker and record company publicist who's spent the last 20 years in the corporate world of advertising/marketing.

Given the current re-birth of Australian music, marked by an explosion of superb songwriters and performers, Dave decided to combine the expertise gained over decades of experience with his passion for music and launched Perfect Pitch early in 2006.

Since then, the consultancy has worked with both emerging and established artists and on a whole range of exciting industry projects.

Perfect Pitch has helped some great newcomers to the Aussie scene like Kristen, Gallery and Amber Cashel as well as hugely experienced acts like Eddie Wakes, Doug Williams and the guys from Bang Shang a Lang (including Murray 'the red Wiggle Cook' when he's not wearing his skivvy).

In 2007, Perfect Pitch is also helping to market the inaugural Blue Earth Day Festival at Darling Harbour and the North, South, East, West Eco-Festivals in conjunction with October Sun. Another exciting venture is the promotion of a series of workshops and concerts for elective music students at the Star of the Sea Theatre on Sydney's northern beaches. The first, in April 2007, was an R n B/Hip Hop Workshop conducted by 'Urban Dada', Doug Williams and friends. The next on August 24th and 25th is a Jazz Workshop and Concert to be conducted by Australia's greatest ever jazz band, Galapagos Duck.
