The best kept secret in music

".... rock ‘n’ roll that doesn’t try to do a billion things all at once and instead focuses on the one simple yet daunting task of capturing an audience’s attention. They write nice floating melodies and have some pleasantly surprising hooks. Each song seems to get better than the last which shows a great sense of songwriting" -

Permission recorded their eponymous first 3 song demo "Suspicious Behavior" in 12/05, with the beautiful & talented Ray Ketchem (Elk City, Luna, Mendoza Line), at The Womb in NJ. They went back under the knife to add 3 more tunes in March of 2006, and have repackaged 5 of the songs in an Ep thing that people can grab hold of anytime they want it. You can hear some of these trax at their myspace account. All the songs were written and arranged by Alex Emanuel and Ben Jenkins. The lineup was as follows: Alex Emanuel -gtr, lead vox, keys, Ben Jenkins -lead gtr, Mags LaBombard -bass, keys David Lewis -drums, Marah Boblin -keys, bg vox, Sir -bg vox, and special thanks to Meghan Pickens
