Feeling a bit camera shy

With the release in April 2005, the single “Feels like” went straight into rotation on Denmark’s two leading radio station P3 and P4. This led to a stream of concerts and festivals around Denmark. Pernille and her band played at this years Scandinavian showcase festival “SPOT 10” where she recived great revues from the press. This got her a spot at the new one day show “POP UP” in Aarhus where Pernille got the change to perform in front of a huge live audience of 6000. Pernille also sheered the stage with 5-time Danish Music Award nominee HUSH.
It wasn’t long before Pernille got international interest. The Toronto based record label Aporia Records took notice of “Fire” and will be releasing the album in Canada fall 2005. Soon after Pernille was offered throe her Scandinavian distributor Playground Music to release the album in Ukraine.
It’s not only the Scandinavians who will have the opportunity to see Pernille live, in September Pernille and her guitarist Anders Petersen (Giant Sand, Marie Frank) will be touring the eastern part of Canada where they can be seen at the this year “Ear to the ground Festival” in Toronto and at the famous showcase festival “POP Montreal” in Montreal’s.
