Bio
Per, Party of Six is the artistic child of singer-songwriter Per Ohrstrom, and fellow musicians Tom Richards, Rachel Epp, Glen Cupples, Michele Yoon, and Luke Buck.
The band name organically sprouted on the drive to the venue where Per was about to have his first show in New York City. The band originally formed to play as accompaniment to Per, but after the reaction they received from the crowd, and an encore (totally natural and not planned!) of The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot (Brand New), the band was formed.
PPo6 has taken to playing across NYC, including Lower East Side staple- Arlene's Grocery, Brooklyn's Spike Hill, Bar4, Trash Bar, and Pete's Candy Store. Most recently, they tag-teamed Philadelphia's JR's Place with friends, The Original Marta, Coral Teeth, and Our Fair City.
The band is recording their first EP this fall, to be release this winter.
