Bio

We are a genuine southern rock group formed in late spring of 2004 in a little remote place called Hammarö of Sweden. The 4 original members Andy, Danny, Perry & Dallen have been making music since teenage years. We’ve managed to get the mud off our boots, and the dust off our hats, and fine tuned this band to play anywhere.

Our attitude and lifestyle is what keeps the "south" in southern rock music alive in us. Our don't give a damn attitude is what lets us make this music that takes you back 30 years or more, to when that fine sound of Southern rock music exploded all over the world.

The band (Perry, Andy, Danny, Snake & Dave) were influenced by Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Who, The Rolling Stones, and Credence Clearwater Revival.

We all have our own sets of roots in rock & southern rock music since before puberty, and we knew we would all be making music for the rest of our lives.

Now we've been told that our style of Southern Rock, is some good old fashion ass kicking, boot stomping, bar music that demonstrates why it re-invite’s the fabulous tunes of the 70’s into popular music culture again.

Since 2004, the band has played countless dates in clubs & festivals in Sweden, Norway, Germany, Austria, Holland, and Belgium; with a spot on the 2006 "Hallelujah Tour."

Spring 2005 we released an EP; "Max light" recorded at "Studio Cobra" in Stockholm, with three songs including the big hit "Streetlight." After some Swedish radio airtime the record received a fair share of good reviews, and the EP that was originally to be used for promotional purposes, ended up being sold in local record stores in Karlstad.

In early 2006, the band recorded a set of six songs in Åmål at "Dead End Production," and recorded an additional three songs at "Dust Studios" in Karlstad, for a September 2006 release of our album "Hard Lovin" on HGM records. In November 2007, we (Perry and The Travellers) headed in to the studio, pitched some tents, slept in sleeping bags, and started work on our second masterpiece at "Leon Studios" outside of Karlstad, 9 songs were recorded before we took the summer to write 5 more songs for a full length LP.

Snake is a musician of many talents. He joined the band January 8t, 2008. His playing keyboards, harmonica, slide guitar, and backing vocals are a great asset to the band.

Dave joined us June of 2008. And plays the drums, he’s confident, and he has a compatibility that brings the feelings that the band is complete.

After several months in our rehearsal studio, we moved camp back to the recording studio to finish the remaining songs for the new album "Other Side of the Bridge" that was released June 17, 2009.

After the album was completed, we were sad to say goodbye our bass player and long-time friend, Danny. We will miss him!

Now we’d like for you all to welcome in Tim Flynth, our bass player who takes the music to another level.

If you like good old rock with wicked harmony and beautiful melodies, and you feel that the popular music of today needs a little kick in the ass, then tune in to Perry and The Travellers! I promise you'll be re-born!
