Pesto

Formed in the cultural hub of Brighton, Pesto are a three-piece formed by three friends and from the embers of a mutual appreciation of Sleater-Kinney. Attracting a cult following from gigs on the south coast and in the capital, the trio have now independently realised and released their debut EP ‘Yellow Brick Frog Syndrome’. With a keen ear for infectious hooks and an impeccable line for self-reflecting wit, Pesto recall the guile and invention of heroes as diverse as Pavement, Modest Mouse, Pixies, The Black Keys and Blur.
