"Beautiful Weather"

I have listend to your CD many times since I saw you at the Milltop back when the weather was still cool. What a great "record"!! I really like your voice, and your songwriting is a pleaseure to listen to, also.

I meet so many people who hand me their CD's; the cover art, and the song titles are presentiment of what I am going to be hearing. Too many of these folks would do well to forget about wanting to be Jimmy Buffett when they grow up. Your music is a breath of fresh air. You can sing!!

"Pete's Harris is the Man!"

I play Pete's music all the time...I will be switching stations on the radio running around, trying to find something appealing and then...I pop in this CD and it is just what I need. So I am really happy he is working away on another one. Can't have too much of a good thing, I always say. Three will be even better than two. If you want to hear some cool beachy laid back sounds this music is for you!

"South Brevard live music fans"

South Brevard live music fans have been familiar with Pete Harris for years from his regular gigs at area Hot Spots like Capt. Hiram's, Fins, and Ozzie's. He has been refered to by some as "Sebastian's Jimmy Buffett" and after listening to new album (his second), I think that might be a pretty acurate description.

Bio

Pete Harris, grew up in Hollywood, Florida. He has been performing in venues from the Florida Keys to Michigan. He has been the opening act for 80 major recording artists such as, Bob Dylan, Trisha Yearwood, The Beach Boys, America, Kenny Loggins, Stephen Stills, The Band, and Jay Leno. He now resides in Little Hollywood, just north of Sebastian, Florida, realizing his goal of living where he wants to be when he's off.
He just recently released his 4th CD "Water Ways".He has sold 6,000 CD's and had over 48,000 hits on his website, without going on the road.
He has sang "The Star Spangled Banner" 3 times (including, Monday Night Football), for The Miami Dolphins, he has had the #4 song on Coverunner Radio, in San Diego, Ca. The #5 song in Maryland, on ACB Interactive Radio, and now getting airplay on Sirius Radio, Vacation Channel 97, Radio Margaritaville, Glasgow, Scotland and Belgium...
Pete Harris plays a laid back style of acoustic music that celebrates living in Florida all of his life. When listening to, you can picture the places he has played, the life he has lived, and the dreams he has had. There have been the obvious ‘Buffett' comparisons however, you cannot help but also hear shades of the Eagles, Jackson Browne, and even a hint of Bertie Higgins.

Pete Harris owns his own recording studio and publishing company, Porthole Publishing (BMI). His music has been described as “having the feeling of a relaxing warm Florida Sunday afternoon on “the deck” with a “cold one” (Chris Long, Brevard Live Magazine, March 2003).
There is not much he hasn't done in the music business. The reason he still does it, is for the love of the music.
Check him out and you will agree....
