Bio

Peter is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist that has performed and recorded with numerous bands over the last 25 years.

In 2020, Peter decided it was time to focus on his own music, built out a home recording studio, and went to work revisiting old riffs and ideas, as well as writing new songs and melodies that will soon be shared with the world. During this time, Peter has adapted these original songs (along with some choice covers) to be performed as a one-man show, accompanying himself, playing guitar and bass with the assistance of a looper and drum machine.

Peter's music is eclectic, drawing from rock, jazz, blues, funk, latin, and folk styles, and blending them together to create a unique style all his own. Bouncing between deep-pocket grooves to get the crowd moving, dreamy ballads, and poppy tunes that may just get stuck in your head, his music appeals to a wide variety of musical tastes.

About Peter:
Peter grew up in Vermont in a musical family. His father is a professional bassist and trombonist, and his sister is a trombonist and vocalist (having performed with the likes of Michael Bolton, St. Vincent, and multiple TV appearances with Florence & the Machine on SNL, Stay Human backing up Judith Hill on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and with the Roots backing up Ice Cube on the Tonight Show, to name just a few).

Peter began playing music at an early age, beginning with pots and pans and cardboard boxes, then graduating to piano, trumpet, drums, guitar, and bass. Bass remained his primary instrument over the years, but he has kept his chops up on the other instruments. He spent time in Atlanta, GA, Burlington, VT, Boston, MA, and NYC, performing in countless bands. He's performed all over the U.S., and had the pleasure of playing such venues as the Nectar's in Burlington, VT, the Belly Up in Aspen, CO, Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA, and the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, OH, and opened for Cowboy Mouth, Lenny Kravitz, and Pink. Peter has worked with acclaimed producers, including Michael Seifert (Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Regina Spektor).
