peter comes from neverland to bring you one-man choruses...and reclaim his shadow. p.c.f.n. is the solo project of Pete Covington, a singer-songwriter from Sydney, Australia. His stage show pairs lush guitar and vocal soundscapes with genre-defying songwriting.

"Live is definitely the most fun for me, " Says Pete. "Using live vocal and guitar looping keeps me on my toes and makes the songs sound fresh each night."

It's taken Pete a while to settle on his current solo project.

"I started out in the bedroom", says Covington. "For me, playing the guitar in my room was what it was all about. The songs have grown from there". And grown they have. As main songwriter and frontman of 90s-Style Grunge-rockers The Leed Fiends, Pete got his chance to hone his songwriting chops while saluting his guitar heroes - Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Billy Corgan. "Those Leed Fiends songs are still very close to me, as I wrote most of those when I was a teenager. They gave me the chance to go guitar-crazy and really indulge in the whole power-trio thing."

With that project, Pete co-produced the debut record with Jorden Brebach (The Church). The Leed Fiends played at multiple Sydney Venues such as Candy's Apartment, The Annandale, Club 77, The Hopetoun, The Bridge and others. Their songs were played on Triple J and FBI.

Pete is working on a new record, comprised of all new material, with a different sound to the Leed Fiends. "This new record has much more of an acoustic edge." Pete sights influences such as Neil Young, Bon Iver, Radiohead and John Frusciante.

peter comes from neverland tours the USA in April to June, and plans a stint in the UK from July onwards.
