Bio
Peter Corn started his career as a singer/songwriter of the Alfredo Brothers, and so earned his name of “the white
singer with the dark brown voice”. The Alfredo brothers, one of the first Amsterdam soul bands to write and produce there own material, were successful in the Dutch club circuit. In 1992 Corn set up the Peter Corn Band, doing his own material. His characteristic sound - a mixture of
swinging Funk, Soul and rhythm&blues, mixed with his soulful gospy vocals, got him positive reviews. This resulted in opening shows for soul artists such as Maceo Parker, Wilson Pickett and Solomon Burke
