Dying To Know You

Written By: Peter Daniel Newman, Monty Lee Kimble and Mike Musick

Dying to Know

Falling from the sky, falling fast for you
You may not know why, you may not care to
You were in my mind, with all I tried to say
Love won’t leave you, love won’t leave you

The darkened skies, arms opened wide
There’s nothing I won’t do
Cry every tear, feel every fear
I’m dying, I’m dying to know you

The world is turning cold and hearts are turning too
If I could be so bold and save this dance for you
You can take your time, with you have to say
Love won’t leave you, love won’t leave you

The darkened skies, arms opened wide
There’s nothing I won’t do
Cry every tear, feel every fear
I’m dying, I’m dying to know you

The darkened skies, arms opened wide
There’s nothing I won’t do
Cry every tear, feel every fear
I’m dying, I’m dying to know you

Nothing Good About Good Bye

Written By: Peter Daniel Newman

Nothing Good About Good Bye

Wind off the water
A warm summer air
Heaven in this moment
With you holding me near

But there’s no forgetting
We have to let go
With tears falling down
We both know

There’s nothing good about goodbye
I don’t feel better when I cry
There’s no comfort with rain
Time won’t heal my pain
Like a dark could in the sky
There’s nothing good about goodbye

I’m far from you now
And I’m far from o.k.
Still feel your arms around me
Like it was yesterday

I still see you face
Swear I feel your skin
I think I hear your voice
Than I wake up alone again

Chorus

There’s nothing good about goodbye
good about goodbye…
no matter how hard we try to find…

Chorus

Waiting For Serendipity

Waiting for Serendipity

vocal/guitars – pdn

by the light of fire flies
you contemplate constellations
you pray stars will align
"but just how long God?" goes the conversation

you play your part in this play of fate
it’s just that your knight in shinning armor is running late

your waiting for serendipity
to find happiness accidentally
and loneliness infidelity
you’re waiting patiently for serendipity

there’s a picture in your head
of lovers enraptured
time has stopped and the world exists
so fairy tales can last forever

is it cosmic coincidence
or wishful theology
that brings lovers together
in your philosophy

your waiting for serendipity
to find happiness accidentally
or loneliness infidelity
your waiting for romantic happenstance
an insurrection of circumstance
an invitation from love to dance
you’re waiting patiently for serendipity

if you took a chance,
took love in your hands,
could you find romance?

but your waiting for serendipity
to find happiness accidentally
your waiting for romantic happenstance
an insurrection of circumstance
an invitation from love to dance
you’re waiting on a wish
you’re waiting to be kissed
you’re waiting patiently for serendipity

On This Drive

On This Drive
(c) Peter Daniel Newman and Kellie Loder 2010

I turn my head to the left to catch the light in my eyes
It’s creeping through the corners of the curtains at
709 the morning comes to wake me up

Would you join me today on an interesting ride
We’ll make good conversation with no destination in mind
So let’s jump in the car roll the windows down
I’ll try to explain the love I’ve found for you... for you

And we’ll drive into the sunset
Loose all track of time
Just when we’ve lost it
You’ll start to blown my mind
This is just the beginning of what I’m about to find
On this drive

We’re sitting at the ocean
I get a little notion you’ve done all of this for me
With sand between my toes I begin to throw all my cares into the turquoise sea
We have no umbrella now the clouds are turning grey
I’ve got to tell ya I’m a lover of the rain to so let’s dance our way back to the ligth blue
And then we’ll drive

And we’ll drive into the sunset
Loose all track of time
Just when we’ve lost it
You’ll start to blown my mind
This is just the beginning of what I’m about to find
On this drive

The the sun goes down
Twinkle twinkle little, how I wonder what you are,
up above the world so high like a diamond in the sky

And we’ll drive into the sunrise
Loose all track of time
Just when we’ve lost it
You’ll start to blown my mind
This is just the beginning of what I’m about to find
On this drive

Miserable With You

Written By: Peter Daniel Newman

I won't bring you flowers to brighten your day
I won't send a card to say something I can't say
I won't offer words like I know how it feels
Or try to get you outside back in the real world
'Cause misery loves company and company is here

I'll be miserable with you
I won't change your point of view
We'll sing sad songs watch depressing movies
We'll curse our part in life's tragic comedy
Whatever your going through
I'll be miserable with you

I won't share my two cents on who's to blame
I won't diagnose your problems or our pain
I won't offer words like time will heal your wounds
Or move you to move on when moving on is just to soon
'Cause misery loves company and company is here

I'll be miserable with you
I won't change your point of view
We'll sing sad songs watch depressing movies
We'll wallow in reality
Whatever your going through
I'll be miserable with you

I'll be miserable with you
I won't change your point of view
We'll sing sad songs watch depressing movies
We'll curse our part in life's tragic comedy
We'll wallow in reality
