Lyrics

Tied

Written By: Peter Karis

When you can’t see ahead
And your heart can’t erase the pain
When you love is dead
And your heart won’t accept the changes

Cause all that’s good is gone
Feel no warmth from the sun
And you’re slowly fading away
When you feel so alone
And you need someone to show you the way

In here I will stay tied around your fingertips
In here I’ve made a comfort in the grips

Maybe one day you’ll wake up and see
That it’s not in your life
But baby somedays the pain is too much to keep it all inside

Cause all that’s good is gone
Feel no warmth from the sun
And you’re slowly fading away
When you feel so alone
And you need someone to show you the way

In here I will stay tied around your fingertips
In here I’ve made a comfort in the grips
When I’m down you want me to be tied around your fingertips
When I’m down you want me to be tied to be tied so tight

In here I will stay tied around your fingertips
In here I’ve made my comfort in the grips
When I’m down you want me to be tied around your fingertips
When I’m down you want me to be tied to be tied so tight

River Song

Written By: Peter Karis

The river is our beginning
And the ocean is a river’s end
Why are you sitting there all by yourself?
When your heart won’t speak for itself

You’re all I need here
Somewhere beneath it
They will lead you to believe
That our thoughts are drowning in a raging

River of time
In a river of time

You feel the cold ocean air
It leaves you half way there
So you and I don’t need pretend at all
I’ve been in this movie scene
With their views on this society
Their thoughts keep bringing us up
Wanna bring us up, they’re bringing us down

You’re all I need here
Somewhere beneath it
They will lead you to believe
That our thoughts are drowning in a raging

River of time, we all lie in there
In a river of time, and it takes you away

The river is our beginning
Watch the ocean become our rivers end
Why are you sitting there all by yourselves?
With these thoughts of helplessness that surround
You and me

They will lead you to believe
That our thoughts are drowning in a raging

River of time, we all lie in there
In a river of time, and it takes you away
In a River of Time
In a River of Time

Change

Written By: Peter Karis

It takes me back to when it began
All alone I’m just a kid
All alone I find myself
Still afraid just like that kid

Cause the news was hard to hear
And I don’t seem to adhere
To all the details in my ears
Can’t erase the facts are clear

And I want to change, or is it too late?

It takes me back to where you were
Just a kid and nothing more
On your bike peddling in the past
Cruising down that hill so fast

On the radio so loud
In the car I’m driving down
When the sun is out and all I see
Are palm trees

And I want to change, or is too late?
And the ocean rises up to touch me

In My Dreams

Written By: Peter Karis

Saw your face today
I couldn’t make my way
It’s strange how everyday still feels the same
Walking down a road
There’s one light still left on
It’s strange how in the dark you light my way

In my dreams I heard your voice
And it almost woke me up
But I didn’t want to wake up
Cause I thought that I won’t see you
And my thoughts are always leaving me

Still feel you through the days always
I can’t find my way back into this world
Without you I’m just roaming with no place
To call home

In my dreams I heard your voice
And it almost woke me up
But I didn’t want to wake up
Cause I thought that I won’t see you
And my thoughts are always leaving me

We gotta run sometimes
