Peter Litvin is the owner of Revolution Studios, one of the most trafficked boutique recording studios in New York City. Litvin is a 27-year-old musician who’s recorded 12 albums, produced more than 300 songs, worked with Grammy-nominated producer Bob Ebeling (Eminem, Kid Rock, Phish, Rufus Wainwright,) and performed at several of New York’s legendary venues. His songs and videos have collected over a quarter million hits on Youtube.

At age 23 Peter uprooted from his humble surroundings and left for the Big Apple to create Revolution Studios. Serving an eclectic cliental, Peter records, mixes, engineers, produces and collaborates on a myriad of projects that range from experimental rap music to cult movie sound productions like Jeff Krulik’s “Heavy Metal Picnic.”

In August 2010, Peter began a new cycle of records, what he’s called “20 records before I die.” The first of these 20, entitled “Love Spectacle” was released in August 2010, and “School,” the second of the 20, which was touched by Brian Lucey (Black Keys), Will Galison (Sting, Steely Dan), and Mark Weinberg who states that he was “proud to have been a part of what I consider rock and roll history."

Though admitting to a wide range of music influences, Peter has cited Scott Walker, David Bowie, Perry Farrell and Type O Negative as artists who were particularly influential on him. Peter has his own unique style of music, a genre that he calls “Adventure Rock,” which he defines as “experiences that exist somewhere, not just in time, history or memory, but a very real place that you can travel to if you wish.”

Peter’s life away from music is an intersection of fleeting obsessions. In a given year he might become a master chess player, learn twenty-five minutes worth of magic, read thirty books, become an expert masseuse, and even decide to make a full length feature film like “Hectic Knife,” which will be released in 2012.
