Peter Myles

A Writer, Composer and Singer with a warm and powerful voice, Peter Myles is Québec’s rock’’N’’country voice. Charismatic and friendly, this great performer is one of a kind. From his electrifying energy, Peter Myles knows how to transmit his passion to his audience.

According to Canadian and European critics, Peter Myles is talented, energetic, generous and a gifted performer. ‘’He electrifies crowds at each of his shows’’ mentioned the American journalist J. Scoth. Myles musical style is described as some Pop Rock with a delicate touch of Country Folk, the audience affectionately call him the king of rock’’N’’country. His mostly Rockabilly approach comes right out from the 50’s with the greats of Elvis, Ritchie Valens and mostly an 80’ band called ‘’the Stray Cats’’.

2007

More than ever the great performer is back in shape. His sabbatical year as made it’s benefits. He began the year with a 3 weeks winter tour in the Florida state in the USA. The king of rock’’N’’country will enjoy electrifying crowds during the private concerts up to Key West. Back in Quebec, Peter does his come back on the Quebec scène after a 3 years off. A tour is materialized in the four corners of la belle province. Peter Myles makes the crowds twirl in many bars and big festivals such as: La Fête du Lac des Nations in Sherbrooke, La Fête du Lac William in Quebec, L’Exposition Agricole de Portneuf, a private concert in Jonquière, the Rodéo du Camion in Abitibi and the Exposition Agricole de Donnacona. In fall, Peter Myles will do is first Belgian show at the Flanders International Festival in Belgium. On his return from Belgium in October, Peter will get in studio to record his next album that will be available in spring 2008.

2006

Peter takes a few months of rest following a road accident. This resting time gives him time to compose some new songs and to polish up certain texts. However, he cannot refuse to give his first show of the year in the month of June at the Bâteau Théatre l’Escale in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Canada. The energy slowly comes back and Peter agrees to participate to the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in Jackson, Tennesse. Welcomed as the king of Quebec’s rock’’N’’country, ABC 7 Good Morning West Tennessee and the Jackson Sun gazette greeted Peter in an exclusive interview with a lot of enthusiasm. This resting time ended in a huge beautiful saloon in France for which Peter has a liking for. That is to say the Billy Bob’s Saloon in the Disney Village in Paris. Like our French cousins are saying, Peter has “ hit it big”.

2005

Being the Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s guest for a private concert at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Peter and the PMP Music team bustles about the organization of his first European Tour. Thus, from july 14th to 28th, Peter Myles travelled the country roads of France (Pleumeur Bodou’s Festival, Arizona Paris, Utopia Paris, Billy Bob’s-Euro Disney Paris) and Luxembourg (Euro Team Country Cup) in order to present the Breaking the Rules show to the country music passionate. During this tour, Peter amazes the audience by offering as an encores a few songs of his new released single Vie! As a scoop, the audience could then buy the single album that contains 3 songs of which 2 compositions of Peter and a Joe Dassin’s re-make, the rock country version of: Salut Les Amoureux!

While the dancers are whirling on the Hit & Run, There Is No Way and Nickel and Dime choreography, Danny Leclerc ( A Professional Canadian Country Dance Teacher and Choreographer ) is working on another wonderful choreography on the popular song: Salut Les Amoureux!

2004

EUROPE discovers the American Rock Country music of Peter Myles. Many magazines and radio stations has taken an interest for this phenomenon. The Breaking the Rules’ s album goes round on many radio stations in Holland, France, Switzerland, Belgium just as Germany and also find it’s way on many hit parades. In fall 2004, Peter conquered the French people’s heart while passing through the Festiwoman Festival in Paris.

2002

Peter Myles also performed with renowned artist such as JEFF SMALLWOOD and ROCH VOISINE at the Telethon for research into Children's Diseases, broadcasted by TVA in 2002. He also participated to a fond raise called “Basics for Baby’s” in Vancouver along with the Canadian male country artists SEAN HOGAN and RICK TIPPE

2001
During JASON McCOY’s show at the Ottawa Hall of Congress, Peter Myles had one more time stolen the crowds heart with his opening act performance. Then, TQS broadcasted a TV report during the tv show “Les fils à Papa”. Furthermore, TQS Saguenay invited Peter to rendering Christmas carol on their Christmas Special : Santa Claus’s Faubourg.
1999-2000

Peter has been the official spokes person for the FESTIVAL WESTERN DE ST-TITE two years in a row. He was given not one but three “Standing Ovations” by the charmed crowd for whom he gave a dazzli
