"Peter's first Cd busts through the current sea of singer/songwriters with his own unique brand of Americana, where he emerges from the throng an American Original" - Rex Traynor
"I just got through listening to Peter Oliva's new CD, Postcard from the Promised Land and I feel like I have been taken on a journey through the back alleys and neighborhoods of urban America, sat on the evening porches of the rural south and midwest, and looked out from the great western mountain ranges; and all that lay beyond. This CD has captured the spirit of the working class from which he springs forth. A true blue collar poet!
I intend to listen again - And again!!!" - Daniel L.
"Peter's CD, Postcard from the Promised Land" really delivers! It's way beyond genre exercise, in fact, it's a body of work by a real communicator in song" - McDonalds Rock Expressions

Bio
Peter's influences stem from the British invasion of the sixties, and the folkies/and songwriters of NY's Greenwhich Village, as well as the great Texas singer/songwriters. Throw in a flavoring of old time mountain music, r&b and the blues, and it all comes out to be Peters eclectic mix of Folk/Americana. He has been touching his audiences with this music since he left the gate. You won't be disapointed!
