Bio
Peter Valera jumps the blues all night long. He plays the saxophone from his heart and soul. He makes the horn speak, communicating a wide range of musical emotions and experiences. Peter gives his all for performances that are unforgettable and just released his first record Jump Blues (Four Most Records and Entertainment). As a composer, bandleader, and educator; his unique style is a synthesis of the swingin' sounds of early jazz and the soulful grooves of rhythm and blues.
No matter what genre of music Peter plays, he brings his audience on a musical journey with him. His philosophy is that music is lifelong journey and it is not about where you end up, but how and why you got there. Peters passion for music is undeniable. He gets the audience jumpin, shoutin and dancin in the streets. When you come to one of his shows, you will leave with a smile on your face!
