Bio
Pete Stewart, born 1972 in northwest Washington State, in many ways epitomizes what it means to be a life-long musician. Pete was the lead singer for The Accident Experiment (Rock Ridge/Warner Brothers), including former members of P.O.D. and Sprung Monkey, was previously the lead singer and guitarist of Grammatrain (Forefront/EMI) and has been an accomplished solo artist and music producer. He has had the privilege of performing both around the USA several times over during his career and the world, touring through many countries during his career.
Pete served as a producer and songwriter for multi-platinum selling group dc talk's last album, entitled Solo, and on the debut albums of members Michael Tait and TobyMac. Shortly thereafter, Pete's hard work would result in a Grammy for dc talk's Solo album, and Momentum, the album he produced for TobyMac, would go on to sell gold.
Throughout the years Pete has produced, written and performed on a variety of artists' albums such as: 4x platinum dc talk (Virgin), 3x platinum Jaci Velasquez (Sony), 1x platinum Nappy Roots (Atlantic), 3x gold Sawyer Brown (Curb Records), 2x gold TobyMac (Forfront/EMI), Kutless (BEC Recordings/EMI) and many more. Pete is currently writing with, producing and developing numerous artists, both on major labels and independent. Pete also performs as a solo artist, often on the West Coast, but occasionally beyond at places like Austin (SXSW) and Nashville.
