Bio
Having spent 4 years in The Big Apple, Pete Zedlacher effortlessly mixes New York cool with a northern Canadian point-of-view.
Pete has quickly become one of the top headlining comics in the country as evidenced by his 2006 Canadian Comedy Award for best male stand-up. Touring Canada from coast to coast and around the globe, Pete is a fan favourite within both the alternative and mainstream comedy club scene. He has appeared on his own episode of Comedy NOW! for CTV/The Comedy Network, and has also appeared in the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival an impressive 3 times. He returns to the festival this summer for his second gala.
Pete has made numerous film and television appearances, including CBC's The Sean Cullen Show and Little Mosque On The Prairie, Puppets Who Kill, and CTV's Sue Thomas F.B.Eye, and Degrassi: The Next Generation. Most recently, Pete shot a role in the film American Pie Presents: "The Naked Mile."
Selling out at Canadas premiere comedy clubs, Pete is a force of nature in the world of stand-up comedy.
