Bio

"Petite Debauche are not easy to pigeon-hole. Their music has such a wide basis of influence, that they create a sound that is truly original, whilst still remaining accessable.
At times pop, then folky, then heavy and groove based, the twists and turns of this band should make no sense at all, yet they pull it off with a great deal of charm, panache and downright flirtation." - Tamzin Wood, EchopressPR.com

Kattie Rosser (Vox, Rythm Guitar, Keys)
James Kettless (Electric Guitar, Bowed Guitar, Vox)
Victor Tomkinson (Baritone Guitar, Vox)
Alan Brookland (Drums, Percussion)

Originally formed in 2009 by James Kettless and Kattie Rosser as an acoustic duet, Petite Debauche have been prominent in playing around west cornwall, telling tales of love, life and debauchery.
The addition of Victor Tomkinson in 2010 added a more diverse element to their sound, with the band becoming more electric-based and re-working the tracks.
In early 2011 they re-launched as a four piece with first Symon Owers then Alan Brookland providing the drums. After a triumphant 10 months in the new format, Petite Debauche are hitting their stride, booking up for 2012 and entering the recording studio to create their first EP.

Influences include The Breeders, Talking Heads, Leonard Cohen, The Beatles, Nouvelle Vague, The Pixies, Velvet Underground, Dandy Warhols, Portishead, Massive Attack,
