”The buzz these days is about this melancholic guy from the north. Now the album is there, and the simple, yet universal question is; has he got what it takes? The answer is yes.”

From Alta, far up in Northern Norway, singer and music maker Petter Carlsen released his debut album “You Go Bird” in August 2009, which entered the charts at #14. The music is atmospheric and melodic.

Petter has now been in the studio with his band recording his second album. Producer and technician is Christer André Cederberg from Oslo lydstudio (studio). The album is loaded with contrasts and dynamics.

The singer Vincent Cavanagh from Anathema contributes on the song "Built to Last", and Singer songwriter Unni Wilhelmsen from Norway sings with Petter on "Table for One".

Petter has been the opening act on Anathemas most recent European and French tour, 50 shows in 15 countries. Last may he played some shows in Benelux.
