Bio
Petty Tyrant is the duo of Pat and Rod. Pat (Stogie the Bluesman) came west from Tennessee by way of Mississippi and has traveled and played with several club bands through the years. Pat appeared in the movie "Soldier's Fortune" with Gil Gerard and performed his song "Bitter Aftertaste of Sin". Back in the 80’s Pat was the editor, publisher, writer and photographer of his own industry magazine called “Street Scene”. Pat has written, performed and recorded many songs including “Cocaine Logic” and “Everything’s Wet”.
Rod has an extensive background in Christian music as a performer and leader. He has written numerous songs of worship as well as songs for special occasions like his daughter’s wedding.
Pat and Rod offer engaging banter and a whimsical presentation that is great for intimate events as well as large groups.
