WHO IS P FLOATA?

Struggle. Family. Loss. Fatherhood. These are the things that ignite
the fire of motivation for Atlanta rap sensation, P Floata. Born
Phillip De’Leon Hayes Jr. in a family of seven, P Floata’s family
moved ten times before the age of fifteen-an unstable childhood that
led him to a life of hustling by the age of thirteen and becoming a
father before even graduating high school. It wasn’t until P Floata
lost his best friend Steven Naraine to an accident caused by a drunk
driver that P Floata really began to take the rap game seriously, in
order to fulfill the lifelong dream that he and Steven used to talk
about.

Though P Floata had been hustling since the age of thirteen, he began
his dream of music long before. He’d actually began producing music
and rapping at the age of eight. It was no wonder that when he
finally decided to become dedicated to the craft, he’d excel in areas
that most up and coming artists struggle through. To set himself
apart from other rappers, Floata has developed an utterly flawless
flow smooth as Hennessey, accompanied by a deeply rooted southern
drawl and a dying hunger for money add that to a ton of charisma and
a way with the ladies and you have P Floata.

P Floata has worked and performed with such artists as Shawty Lo,
Maceo, T.I., Jody Breeze, Gucci Mane, Plies, Big Gee, Juvenile, Nappy
Roots, Crime Mob and many more. A highlight in P Floata's career was
performing at a concert for radio personality Greg Street of Atlanta's
V103 in his hometown of NorthAtlanta at Gwinnett Arena and a college
tour with sold out dates in 11 cities. In addition to his performance
career, he has released 5 independent mixtapes (street albums)
including his two recent releases "Money Over Everything" and "Black
Can Land" totaling near 60,000 copies sold worldwide and hundreds of
thousands of digital downloads; a huge acclamation for a completely
independent 20 something entrepreneur.

P Floata doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. He plans to top the charts
with the release of his biggest single yet entitled “She Can Get It”.
The track is produced by Zaytoven, one of the industry’s go-to
hitmakers, and will be released under the independent giant Black
Diamond Entertainment. To this young hustler turned rapper, the sky is
the limit.
