Bio

Pharaoh Loosey formed mainly because of great musical chemistry and partly because of a mutual lucid dream. Brothers Grant and Wayne Kilgard had been making experimental music in Cincinnati, OH for a few months, when they decided to roadtrip to Patterson, NJ to visit their old friend and musical peer Eric Osmanoglu. After plenty of NYC revelry, and a wild all day jam session, the three musicians knew that something special was born. After one more east coast visit by the Kilgard brothers, which included a strange mutual lucid dream about levatation, Eric was convinced and decided to move to Cincinnati to make music full time. The two months following consisted of intense practices with plenty of avant guard experimentation. Pharaoh Loosey recorded their first EP with Soap Floats recording just two months after they started. Since then, Pharaoh Loosey has exploded onto the Cincinnati live music scene. Their shows are heavy on funk, rock, jazz, dance music and space, along with whatever other genre rears it's head in one of their many extended improv sections. Within just one year of performing, Pharaoh Loosey has already shared the stage with national acts Bump, The Werks, and Boogie Matrix Mechanism.
