‘Caught in a Fantasy’ is a satisfying romp through danceable beats and exciting landscapes. Red da killer bee differentiates himself from his industry counterparts by harnessing his heritage in a wholly authentic way.
Overall, this is a very well composed and performed modern track, that conjures a strong musical atmosphere with just a few sparse but effective musical elements. Bio
Redd da Killer Bee has been doing music since his elementary years. Graduating from the violin, saxophone, onto songwriting (R&B/Pop/Hip-Hop), and becoming a Hip-Hop/Rap recording and performing artist brought RDKB into a new realm of music and moving more seriously in the entertainment industry.
RDKB is one who has always been influenced by himself, his own abilities, and his many talents. Although, outside of himself, Redd da Killer Bee shows and holds massive respect for selective acclaimed artists and innovators in their own rights. Janet Jackson, Lil’ Kim, Angelina Jolie, Mariah Carey, Ludacris, Walt Disney, Halle Berry, Stan Lee, Erykah Badu, P!nk, Bruno Mars, Ciara, and Katy Perry are just a few but majority of artists that RDKB gladly tips his crown to.
Towards the latter years of high school, RDKB began to seriously work on his music and work with others on their recordings. Once releasing single by single via Myspace, a fan base started to grow as Redd da Killer Bee did within the music industry. His first official single to be available for digital download was “Gone Shake It” in May of 2010. Performing around St. Louis gave him the energy to produce, record, and distribute a full-length album before the year ended.
After releasing his debut album, "Plain & Simple: Reprised", in December of 2010,RDKB focused more on writing for other artists of different genres and growing more as a composer/producer. In 2013, RDKB remixed Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", and then began to work on his next solo project. "Nightmare on Redd Street" was released as the first single in spring 2014 and his EP, “En Garde” was released on July 1st.
In June of 2015, Redd released a new single, "Ambition" along with its dance remixes following in August 2015. Laying low until the new year, "Caught in a Fantasy" (musically produced by Yonni), released January 8, 2016 and his sophomore album, "Birth By Sleep" will be everywhere Spring 2016 to bring in the first quarter on the right start.
