Bio
pheorte' (FEE-OR-TAY) was formed in Kent, Ohio, in the fall of 2002. Tim Fry and Jay Zagar had been friends throughout college and decided that music was a greater passion, so they went about finding members to form a band. Tim had known about a bass player around town that he went to grade school with. They eventually got together and had a three piece band. But it is evident that a fourth member would be a necessity, so the bass player invited his guitar playing younger brother, Graham Miller, to join. The four hit it off and pheorte' was created. They spent some time playing around Kent, and then Cleveland and Lakewood, turning the heads of Cleveland music lovers. But recently it was decided that a change in the line-up was a must, dedication is what pheorte' needed, so they let the bass player go.
With the addition of a new bassist, John Nosan, and saxaphonist, Tim Unessi, pheorte' is better than ever. With new songs and a new sound, pheorte' is prepared to take on the music industry. pheorte' has always strived to be a musically tight band, and that they are. The mix of sax and guitars, and a solid rhythm section is a perfect blend with great song writing and a powerful voice.
