This "gifted", talented band is an ecclectic mix of musician, writers, and composers, who play and record in the San Gabriel valley and Southern California area and together with singer songwriter Phil Chesshir are continually working on new material. Producer Bob Vogel provides the privately owned studio lined with paintings for ambience, and why not since two of the musicians are artist/painters. Playing and recording is always interesting and breathes nicely with a "contained" jam band energy. The sound is easy on the spirit and the ears with guitar driven hooks and melodies. The occasional pedal steel sweetens some tunes invoking a nostalgic but suttle memory for American flavors without really going there. Phils' southern accent comes through now and then to leave you wondering about the origin of this L.A. band.
