Looking for opportunities, creating connections.

As a young artist seeking for new opportunities, I have come across ISC through internet search. I have missed the application for both the John Lennon Competition (15/06/06) and the "We Are Listening" London Competition (30/06/06) but luckily ISC opened. It is my final attempt this year to enter a competition internationally. Thank you for this big opportunity, and this big idea. - Yours Sincerely

Feeling a bit camera shy

Bio

Since the day I found my guitar in an old wardrobe when I was fourteen I've been writing music and to this day I enjoy being an open channel. Music is greater than me and whenever my heart needs to be emptied of emotions, whether it would be happiness or sorrow I turn to music, which let's me transform the heaviness into the voice of my heart.
My inspirations come from Music itself and the beautiful world we live in, space is the key to bigger and better art.
Now it is up to you give it judgement.
I've been reading page after page day after day
through my lyric book, and often wonder when the chance would be. I try not to fear the time factor but when there is an opportunity: I take it.
I write what I feel, and most of the time the tunes resemble where I am in life, I often notice a trend in my works as they come in phases according to how I feel at the time. Day by day as I write, I am recording a history of my emotions, virtues and philosophy of the world, getting lost and found in my own sound. I just want to glorify God's name through music- simply returning what He has so freely given me.

All music is beautiful, I believe so.

Over Me, Over You

The song Over Me, Over You, is certainly one of Phileo more powerful, rock/ballad compositions. Inside, Joseph Kim (Phileo) talks about the insecurities and doubts that come with growing up in life. Notice that in the chorus, the theme brilliantly weaves into a conversation between his insecurities and hopes. In the end, his hopes are resurrected and it provides security and warmth within him. This song is a true masterpiece!
