 Dallas, Texas, USA
BandPopSinger/Songwriter

The music is equally lyrically heartbreaking and brilliant as it is sonically timeless. We combine hints of Buckley's vocal touch, Travis's sparkle, and the hooky writing of McCartney. The songs will take you to the deepest hurt love has dealt you, and then bring you to your moment of salvation.

Biography

The music for the band comes from rich songwriting of brothers Philip and Daniel Creamer. Lead by the older, Philip, they have set the standard, and lead the charge for a new breed of honest, influential singer/songwriters in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. However, moving far beyond the back pages of folk music, the band has begun to stretch to the farthest corners of melodic, shimmery brit pop, classic and southern rock, and theatrical composition to create a powerful sound that warms even the coldest heart. The band formed after playing covers at mega-church together for 2 years, while playing in local acts in the Dallas area. They played for 16,000+ people on a week to week basis and despite the comforts of such crowds the band has moved on to pursue their higher purpose. The band boasts reminiscence of such greats as The Band and the vocals uniquely share their influence of Buckley, Rufus Wainright, Bono, and McCartney. The melodic drive of each band member sets this group apart from so much of the music community, and makes listening a treat.

Lyrics

Coal Black Night

Written By: Philip Creamer

Can you see us
dancing in the moonlight?
Spinning circles in the grass
Holding you in the night
Holding me to my lies

Can you dream it
Free like our time is served?
Not a trouble to break your smile
Not a window to mute my words

Pre-Chorus:
If only you knew my heart
If only you saw my soul
We could turn this coal black night
Into a diamond

Can you feel it
Heavy as the summer air?
Making me uncomfortable
The moment between our words
The moment between our lips

Pre-Chorus:
If only you knew my heart
If only you saw my soul
We could turn this coal black night
Into a diamond

Chorus:
Each day i'm more like you
You're a simple girl
I'm getting simple too
La la la la la la
La la la la la la la
Each day i'm more like you
And in a simple world
I'm getting simple too
La la la la la la
La la la la la la la
(repeat 2X)

Bridge:
It's more than a feeling
You are everything I need
Take the time
To let me in your heart

Chorus:
Each day i'm more like you
You're a simple girl
I'm getting simple too
La la la la la la
La la la la la la la
Each day i'm more like you
And in a simple world
I'm getting simple too
La la la la la la
La la la la la la la
(repeat 2X)

Speak

Written By: Philip Creamer

Little flower speak
In tongues I never hear
With a vase for feet
Come walk with me
Through the wooden door
When it creaks cover your ears
But let the yellow light
Make yellow eyes with you

Chorus:
Whisper in my ear
Hide the things that I won't like
About you away
Scream into my face
Tell me how I never look at You
Makes you the loneliest
But you love me anyway

Run away with me
When you can't feel at all
When you just don't believe in this
Underneath the stars
When they shine don't close your eyes
But let the yellow dawn
Awake your mind again

Chorus:
Whisper in my ear
Hide the things that I won't like
About you away
Scream into my face
Tell me how I never look at You
Makes you the loneliest
But you love me anyway

Bridge:
Turn around my love
If you can't see the fear
Inside your eyes
I know it's there

Chorus:
Whisper in my ear
Hide the things that I won't like
About you away
Scream into my face
Tell me how I never look at You
Makes you the loneliest
But you love me anyway
