Bio
Philip Nozuka is an award-winning actor and entertainment artist. For film and television he is recognized from Degrassi: The Next Generation, Cosmopolis; directed by David Cronenberg and the 2013 remake of Carrie; directed by award winning director Kimberly Pierce.
As a performer, Philip has been honing his material and stage presence since high school where he studied musical theatre at The Etobicoke School of Arts. He is also a graduate of the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada’s acting program.
Philip’s dynamic routine draws inspiration from a wide range of alternative comedians and performers such as Andy Kaufman, Jim Carey, Reggie Watts and Steve Martin - just to name a few. His material is all at once completely original, at times absurd, totally feel good, and wildly entertaining.
