Phillip Andrew Newman

Phillip Andrew Newman entered the music business in 1976 after studying jazz composition with Herb Pomeroy and Michael Gibbs and graduating from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Composition. Mr. Newman played keyboards with Jimmy Clanton, Roy Head, Brook Benton, David Lynn Jones, Jim Collins, Freddy Fender, and Osiris. From 1995 through July 2008, Mr. Newman was the musical director of the Contemporary Worship Service at St. John's Episcopal Church. The Newmans are now attending Bridgeway Community Church in Columbia, MD.
