Philly Titan

Phillip John Lara (born in Austin Texas on April 9,1987) Professionally known by his stage name Philly Titan, is a Latin American rapper, song writer, and producer. He started out playing percussion in school and eventually got into music production. Philly Titan grew up listening to several different genres which helped him produce songs with a diverse style. He started rapping and producing beats at the age of 16. Although PT haden't made a name for himself yet people would say that his talent was beyond his time. During a conversation with one of his band directors Philly was told that he was actually quite amazing at playing music and that he should think about composing some music of his own. He sold his first Instrumental by 17 and also started writing his own lyrics that year. His first song titled ' Admit It' which he produced himself was originally recorded back in 2007. PT continued producing music and writing lyrics determined to turn his God given talent into a career. He performed his first hip hop competition at The Vibe on 6th street in Austin Texas at the age of 17. Philly Titan continued to compose music and perform at local events. He was featured on several songs with local artists and helped produce several underground mix tapes. In 2010 Philly Titan wrote and produced his first complete album titled 'Stuck In My Ways' which was composed of all original beats and lyrics which he tried his best to self promote but with no significant advance. His music was always getting good feed back from local fans and even from out of state listeners. With his mind set on becoming a rap legend and lyrical inspiration Philly Titan re-released his album in 2014 and was able to build a bigger fan base with the help of other artists and local supporters.
