Philly's music is inarguably the most exciting thing going on in hip-hop right now. He has mastered the balancing of an "underground" hip-hop aesthetic, with elements from the mainstream which has made his sound so unique. Philly imparts laconic vocal delivery with radiant wit and agile word play

In 1999 Fly Boy Music Group was formed. Fly Boy Music Group consists of six lead artists and multiple affiliated artists across the Midwest and West Coast. Over the years, Philly has worked with many producers including; Sean Blaze (50 Cent), Jay Esco (Clipse) and Chase Cashe (Cassie).
