Bio
David Phillips, "Philo" aka "Wizdom" born son of a Minister, came up on the West Side of NapTown, straight outta "Haughville" He began his music career in the early 80's writing and performing secular Hip Hop. This continued into the early 90's. Philo relocated to Southern Florida in 1991 and in 1992 began collaborating with various artists in the South Fla. area. This allowed him to perform with artists like CeCe Penniston, All 4 One, Rappin 4Tay, Crystal Waters and Immature. He also collaborated with DJ Jazzy Jeff in 1993 on the Mighty Quinn project. In 1994 he experienced a life change. Christ was now making moves in his life, not in a physical or monetary way but in a Spiritual way. This life change began to show in the lyrics of every song he has written since then. Philo is now back in NapTown and Christ is still making moves and guiding him in his walk. Philo just completed his first of many to come Holy Hip Hop CD's titled "CHANGES" this project is laced with tracks produced by Smooth P & Christ4lyfe Productions, Mixette & Supawoman Studio's with a flow that captivates listeners of all ages. This CD also includes vocal additions by Sherry Barney, Raven Royston, P spells, CMD and The Rev. Philo has been truly blessed in his music ministry, regularly collaborating with local Ministers of the Gospel. Philo has recently founded RhymeChrist Music Ministries and is a member of 3:16 Music Ministries(ThreeOneSix) Philo would like to thank all of the Holy Hip Hop Ministers of the Gospel world wide for their part in spreading the Word of GOD.
