Raised in Texas, at 14 Phil began playing for his father's Baptist church. Eary on Phil knew his music talent was truly a gift from God. Phil's musical background spans a wide range of experience and influences. Andre Crouch, The Brothers' Hawkins, The Sister's Clark, Sara Groves, Mercy Me, Third Day and most of all his monher, the late Mrs. Louise Perry.
A combo of sincere songwriting, thought provoking lyrics, technically sound musicianship and emotional performances set Phil apart from the rest. Phil is a passionate man about his artform and He knows it is but by the grace of God that He accomplishes anything.
Phil has been fortunate enough to have his compositions selected and recorded at the Edwin HAwkins Music and Arts Seminar. (5 to be exact).
Following his many successful projects and conference showings, Phil began to experience the BLESSINGS of God in his ministry. December 22, 2009 he traveled to Tokyo, Japan to be a guest clinician at the Songs For God II Workshop. In February 2010 Phil was awarded "Male Vocalist of the Year" and "Producer of the Year" at the 4th Alabama Peoples Choice Award cermony in Birmingham, Alabama.

Currently Phil is the Music Minster at New Life BAptist Church, in Montgomery, ALabama. He is also sharing the gift af music as teacher/owner of Buchli Music School, which was given to him by his beloved piano teacher, Mrs. Gloria Buchli, who is with our Lord and Saviour.
Phil stands in expectation that the best is yet to come!
