Starting at age 14 Phoenix had the desire and drive to express his life through his art and music. With an entrepreneur spirit Phoenix accepted his challenges and turned them into songs that move you. Out of many intense hardships Phoenix now is a true example of humility and along with his artistic talent he also makes time to teach teens & people of all ages how to conquer their fears and rise to fulfill their dreams in a healthy way. This man is truly a force to be reckoned with. Having such soulful energy expressed through his talent he will be one of our days greatest movers and thinkers.
Award Winning Artist, Phoenix Benjamin debuted on the music scene with the group Green Devil Industry in Seattle in 1990, founded Firebowl Records in 1994 and in 1997 Firebowl Records International/ Caprice International. After working with Joey Welz, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member and featured pianist for Bill Haley & the Comets, he took a break to have a perfect son and namesake. Soon after, with 911 striking a major blow to our nation and the industry, Phoenix decided to shut the doors and focus on new things. Now he's back with a hot new folk/acoustic/rock record GLOBAL SEIZURE "Nothing More to Lose" with 16 songs including 5 karaoke (you know you love to sing along!) Two of these songs, "See" & "Today", feature Green Devil Industry.
Phoenix is modern day Renaissance man with enormous talent as a songwriter, singer and guitarist. Phoenix signed Endorsement with HALO Guitars and has a Signature line available as well. Several songs are autobiographical like "TATTOO" "Red Hot" "FOOTSTEPS" allow the listener to see themselves in them and, in the end, feel better just for listening. From the soulful "Baby Ride" to the upbeat "See", and the spiritual nature of all his songs, Phoenix proves no genre is beyond his limitless talent. Most of the songs could easily cross over into Country, Christian Rock, Top 40, Southern and Modern Rock formats. His influences are the founders of Rock n Roll including, but not limited to, Chet Atkins, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Bill Haley & the Comets, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, to the modern day Minor Threat, Social Distortion, Youth Brigade & George Lynch. He is also a first time author with the soon to be published book also titled "Nothing More to Lose."

The song "Best I Can" is amazing on it's own but, considering all writers and publishing royalties are being donated to AMBER ALERT, is reason enough to purchase this album. Phoenix supports our Armed Forces by showing solidarity in the wearing of BDU's. They are not the most comfortable or fashionable attire imaginable, however, this author finds Mr. Benjamin quite sexy nonetheless. Phoenix is the founding member of the Stop the Violence campaign. His goal is violence awareness, suicide prevention and safe housing. The music and spoken word show will be touring schools and colleges around the country.
