Phoneix Rising's loud, eclectic metal is part rock, part hard pop, and never dull. The highlights on the 5-song demo are the first two tracks, "Falling Down", and the second, the best of the bunch, "Sands of Time", featuring a slow-moving, sexy guitar part and nicely realized vocal work.This is a great retro move, throwing on a ballad amidst the progressive rougher stuff. It shows professionalism, but most of all, cool musical range.
