Just like the shooting star we rarely see in a New York Sky, Phresh, born Kashaun Rameek Rutling is the city's wish come true. Straight out of Bamaz in Brooklyn's East New York, he is the breath of Phresh air we've been looking for in the Music Industry. Born to Sonyia Simpson Barlow and Charles (North) Rutling, Phresh graduated from Jefferson High School a football prospect for North Western and Virginia University turning both away to be a full time dad to his son Kashaun Jr.

A teacher's assistant for challenged children, founder of the Almost Famous Auto Club and Co-Founder of the ISO B-Ball tournament series, Phresh is the icon and role model children dream of becoming. With an Associates Degree from the Borough of Manhattan Community College he has ascertained a desired societal credential to add to the abundance of street smarts needed to make it in today's world. His plunge into the Rap world has inspired so many to believe that anything can happen if you work hard towards it. With tracks like "Long Hair Don't Care" and "Polo, (She likes dat)". his "SoPhreshTV" on YOUTUBE has everyone buzzing. They’re chanting his lyrics and bumpin' the tunes in their whips, on their Ipods, cell phones and anywhere they can possibly play the songs.
