PIANORAMA

PIANORAMA is a series of recorded albums, eight full length CDs so far, of original acoustic grand piano music composed, recorded and performed by Elizabeth Anne Middleton. Her piano music is classified as ambient and classical. PIANORAMA CDs are recorded at Tantrum Studios and distributed by Tantrum Records, in Montecito, CA. Elizabeth has a degree in music from the University of Massachusetts, where she studied piano with Nigel Coxe. She worked to restore treaty rights to the American Indians in the 1970s in Boston, MA, and Woodstock, NY. Inspired by the world view of wise American Indian elders, she began writing songs about animals and nature. As “Octavia Neptune,” she sang her songs on a Daevid Allen tour in the 1980s. The PIANORAMA recordings comprise Elizabeth’s piano music descriptive of the beautiful planet, with entire albums devoted to trees, water, the moon landing, dreams, milestones and special people.
