Bio

Pickit Fence is an acoustic duo featuring Phyllis Ricker and Robin Engala. Pickit Fence formed in 2010 and is currently recorded their first, highly anticipated CD.
Phyllis Ricker; singer/songwriter, multi-talented instrumentalist and vocalist. Phyllis is famous throughout East Tennessee for her great guitar picking and vocals in various bluegrass and gospel bands. Her influences are: The Judds, Alan Jackson, Alison Krause and Union Station, Doyle Lawson and Quick Silver, The Isaacs and The Whites.
Phyllis started singing at 3 years old at home and at church. She began playing the guitar at age 7. She wrote her first song by the age of 11 and has never stopped.

Robin Engala; singer/songwriter, guitarist and vocalist. Robin got her first guitar at 9 years old. Her father is a guitarist and singer and inspired her to love all music and how to appreciate a great song. She performed in local choirs and in community theaters growing up. Her influences are: Joni Mitchell, Anne Murray, Mary Chapin Carpenter, The Indigo Girls, Keith Urban, Vince Gill and Steve Warner.
Robin began performing as a soloist and in local bluegrass and alternative bands in the early 1990's playing original and cover songs in clubs, at parties and at writer's nights throughout East Tennessee, Nashville and in Atlanta.
