-DJ MUSIC STYLES: From Indie Dance to Tech House.
Breakbeat, indie dance, house, deep house & tech house are the styles that PICOTROPICO put in the blender to give you a variety of grooves, always with a funk final touch on almost every track he spins on his DJ set. Its music that you can listen or dance to, that goes from slow & sexy to faster and intense, all depending on the different moods that different parties have to offer. With some tracks more melodic than others, as a musician, he try to find the right instruments and vocals to keep a compete balance between his influences which goes from rock to funk and hip hop, to techno and other electronic styles.
Eclec-tronic music as he defines it.
Picotropico just finished his first solo project be released in 2012 titled A WEEK IN A LIFE, mixed by Hector Castillo in NY and mastered by DAVE MCNEIL, the album explore several electronic rhytms from indie dance, nu funk to deep house & techno.
