Matthew Dale Adkins (MDA) AKA Picticus Zax, was born in Pikeville, KY and started playing music at 11 years of age. Always strived to be an artist more than a trained musician. Influences include King Crimson, Shpongle, STS9 and many many others. The outcome of Picticus's music is quite unpredictable for he plays through many genre's.Its was a matter of time till he would pick up electronic music which he despised for so long. But under the pseudonym Picticus he converted a lot of his feeling on spirituality, life, and our existance into sonic form resulting in a down tempo-ed, psychedelic sound with a cosmic twist. .
