Okay, that's kinda of a really short description for the band Pie, but in a way, it kind of fits. They craft incredibly honest and real songs, with a hint of humor thrown in to keep the sanity afloat. Singer/writer Ellie Araiza certainly drew from personal experience to create these songs, but she touches on situations we've all felt.
With musical styles ranging from Blues to Alt Rock to Americana to Spanish, Ellie Araiza and guitarist/ overall musician dude David Zumsteg have blended and concocted their unique style of music to perfectly fit Ellie's unique style of singing.
Think of Pie as a blend of Jason Mraz and Shakira... kinda of. ;)
