If Dave Matthews and Sarah Mclachlan were to marry and elope to India - Pieces of East would be their musical lovechild.

Holiday

Written By: Laura Giammona

Holiday

This is envy, for the things I do not have.
I know you feel it too.

The urge to buy things you do not need.
It leaves us feeling empty.

My confession shouldn’t be of great surprise.
You know me, you know me well.

We need a holiday, a mental holiday
We need a holiday, a mental holiday.

Hurry, Hurry, buy those new shoes today.
It’s only a one day sale.

What a steal, a great deal you can’t pass up.
But it does it bring you happiness?

Go on now, put them on your credit card.
You want them. You want them bad.

Dos Parejas

Written By: Laura Giammona & Anuj Timblo

Her Spanish Smile takes away my sorrows
Her Asian Eyes wash away my pain
Her English Lips brighten up my day
Her Indian charm, it takes my blues away

What a brilliant flame to warm up under the moonlight
Her love can grow just like happiness
To have her is to really know my woman
To leave her is just like fading away

I’m fading away...

His Spanish Smile mesmerizes my mind
His Asian Air slowly envelops me
His English Lips brighten up my day
His Indian charm, it takes my blues away

What a brilliant flame to warm up under the moonlight
His love can grow just like happiness
To have him is to really know my man
To leave him is just like fading away

I’m fading away...

Time

Written By: Laura Giammona

Time he is my friend,
Always there and always true.
But you, you laugh at me,
And tell me that I feel too much.

Well here I am,
And I don’t want to be your circumstance.

I can’t keep on running. I can’t keep on running. I can’t keep on running.
I can’t keep on running. I can’t keep on running. I can’t keep on running.
Away.

Here you are, living your life like a box of trinkets.
Disposable to me, priceless to you, but you dare not throw it away.
A value unknown, if something was meant to breathe it was you, it was you.

You can’t keep on running, you can’t keep on running, you can’t keep on running.

Love is as love does, love is as love does, love is as love does, love is as love does.

There is solace in the horizon, you can find me there.
There’s an undamaged spirit in all of us, it was there all the time.

Love is as love does, love is as love does, love is as love does, love is as love does.
These skies are always clear when your eyes are closed.

I can’t keep on running. You can’t keep on running. We can’t keep on running.
I can’t keep on running. You can’t keep on running. We can’t keep on running.
Away.
