"Recommendation (Paul Alf)"

I would definately recommend people to see Pierced in concert. I had them come and do a concert for a youth camp and they did a wonderful job. They have a wonderful gift of getting people excited about their music and about Jesus. I also hung out with them before the show, and I was blown away by their hearts for Jesus. They sounded great and rocked the place, what a great night it was. - Paul Alf (Youth Pastor for North Central Conferenced of the Free Methodist Church)

"Recommendation (Dave Fogderud)"

It is with great pleasuer that I recommend the ministry and music of Pierced. They are a 4-piece Christian Pop/Punk/Rock band that really rocks as they praise and worship the Lord. Their style appeals to all ages but specifically to young people. Most of the band members are family. They were formerly known as Firescape and have played at JOSIAH'S PLACE Coffeehouse a number of times. They won the hearts of young and old alike and have become one of our favorite bands. We hope to have them play at our ROCK ON THE ROCK Outdoor Music Festival as well. What impresses me is not only the quality of their sound but their loving spirits and desire to lift up the Name of Jesus. They are truly talented musicians and their lyrics are awesome. All songs are original and convey a message of hope and inspiration and clear invitation to know Jesus Christ as personal savior. It is obvious that the members of Pierced are humble and simply want to serve the Lord through their music. I believe that Pierced is destined to gain national recognition and I HIGHLY recommend them to all audiences, both Christian and secular. I hope that you invite them to your venue soon. - Dave Fogderud (Founding Pastor of THE OVERFLOWING CUP Total Life Center and JOSIAH'S PLACE Coffeehou

"Recommendation (Tom Slye)"

Mix massive sound, loads of energy, and innovative lyrics and you get the band Pierced. The highlight of our event was this band. Their massive sound, loads of energy, and innovative lyrics captivated the audience and left them wanting more. - Tom Slye (Youth Pastor of Christ Church, Mequon, WI.

"Recommendation (Darrell Arms)"

I've know several of the young men who are members of the band since June 2003, and have watched them mature as persons as well as musicians. Their music is full of energy and youthful optimism. Their innocence and optimism is lacking in most punk bands I'm familiar with. Their emerging, self-described "pop punk style is fresh and fills a niche for those who enjoy the rhythm and volume of punk, but want lyrics that encourage and challenge in a positive way. They are worth a listen and an investment! - Darrell Arms (Sr. Pastor, Beloit (WI) Free Methodist Church)

Bio

Pierced was formed four years ago under the name Firescape. They came together during their high school years, and have developed into a tight band musically, and have become close friends that work good together.
Once out of high school Pierced decided to start finding gigs within the Midwest. Sending out many press kits has proven to be good business as they have landed several fairs and festivals. They have also played at churches, Christian coffee houses, teen clubs, and have been involved in several battle of the bands events.
Pierced has opened for a well know Christian parody band called "ApologetiX" in Belvedere, IL. There was approximately six hundred people there, the excitement was unreal, and the audience was very enthusiastic as Pierced took the stage.
The biggest concert Pierced landed was in Beloit, WI (their home town). A great press kit, diligence, and the high regard from the director of Beloit Riverfest landed Pierced this huge show. He also gave them a great time slot. Pierced played the last night of Beloit Riverfest, from 8:30- 10:30pm. They played two hours straight in ninety+ degree heat, and despite that they drew a crowd of over three hundred. The crowd was going crazy as the band played their own original music, along with music from bands like "Hootie and the Blowfish," "Incubus," "Green Day," and "Lynyrd Skynyrd" to name a few. Stage manager Kevin Patrick said, "Pierced was good enough to compete with many top Christian bands". One of the other fairs Pierced played at was Green Lake County Fair. The director of that fair, Kim Zills said, "Pierced drew the biggest crowd that we have ever seen at our entertainment tent."
Much of their music is inspired by the writing of the lead singer, Jake Slye. He has written songs from past experiences in his life, some about life in general, others about girls, but the most important songs have been inspired from the relationship he has with God. He is determined to challenge his audience through his songs. The themes of these songs come from deep moral convictions that the band shares, and their feelings of praise for God.
Pierced targets an audience from the age range of high school through the age of thirty, although they are enjoyed by a wide range of age groups. Pierced also gives out free CD's to their audiences, and they take out time to sign them. They also take time out to sign shirts, shoes, and anything else that is appropriate. Pierced is a very personal type of band, they hang around and talk to the people that are interested in the band, or want to talk to the band members about their life situations. Pierced does not want to be about recognition only, they truly want to help people see their worth and value in God's eyes, and to help them see their value to the world.
Pierced is also a ministry of "The Beloit Free Methodist Church" in Beloit, WI, and all of their money is received through the church. This means if you are a group or individual, and if your event is promoted by a profit run organization, or by an individual, and you would like to have Pierced be part of your event, your 'suggested donation' will become tax deductible.
Booking Pierced has many advantages, the first advantage is getting a group of guys who are great musicians, and the greatest advantage is the quality of people you will be working with. Pierced is here to help make your next event a huge success! If you would like to contact us by phone, you may call Caleb Kimball at (608)436-1384, or Mike Tuttle (608) 879-9264.
