Lyrics

Fallen Angel

Written By: Pierre Petrou

Verse One:

I've been in love so many times
that my heart knows how it feels,
From how she loves you back as well,
to when she don't and how that kills...
When I met you I was caught between
a Heavenly Devotion.
And this unique kind of ecstasy,
Has born a brand-new emotion.

Chorus:

It's like I'm walking on the moon,
In control of all God's Stars,
Like my heart proudly goes boom,
As it flies to Mars,
My eyes sparkling like a jewel,
Causing this fire to fuel,
So I know that for sure-
You're a Fallen Angel,
'Cos I have Fallen; -Angel.

Verse Two:

I look at you and your deep brown eyes
glow brighter than the sun,
I melt inside and feel so alive-
Each time you take my hand.
The danger we must cause this world
When our lips meet as we kiss,
For the earth must at least slightly move, away from its axis.

Chorus:

It's like I'm walking on the moon,
In control of all God's Stars,
Like my heart proudly goes boom,
As it flies to Mars,
Your eyes sparkling like a jewel,
Causing this fire to fuel,
So I know that for sure-
You're a Fallen Angel,
'Cos I've surely Fallen; -Angel.

Bridge:

Now every night my heart sings,
'cos you have got no wings,
So you can't fly away,
You're here to stay...

It's like I'm walking on the moon,
In control of all God's Stars,
Like my heart proudly goes boom,
As it flies to Mars,
Your eyes sparkling like a jewel,
Causing this fire to fuel,
So I know that for sure-
You're a Fallen Angel,
'Cos I've surely Fallen; -Angel.

Yeah I know that for sure-
You're a Fallen Angel,
'Cos I've surely Fallen; -Angel...

Too Early For Flowers

Written By: Pierre Petrou

Verse One:

At the age of twelve, I fancied a young girl and wanted her to know....
I asked my dad how to send some flowers, he said to take things slow....
Being in love at such a young age and she not even aware,
Again, I asked about the flowers, and this is all he said....

Chorus One:

"Talk to her, find out about her, spend some time with friends,
Take it easy, play it cool son, let's see this through to the end,
See how it goes in the first few hours......
But son.... it's Too Early For Flowers."

Verse Two:

Ten years passed, she married another, my broken heart stayed true...
She seemed so happy and I was destined, to stay forever blue....
One night she called me in tears and heartache.
Her husband walked out on her,
I asked her best friend if I should send some roses,
But this is all she said....

Chorus Two:

"She is sad and broken-hearted, we need to take some care,
Things are tough and life's hard blows, show that it just ain't fair,
Wait until her wound closes.....
But please.... It's Too Early For roses."

Verse Three:

A few years pass and two kids later, we are so in love....
Until an accident in her car, looks like she's heading above....
Nurses say she won't make it through,
Six days pass, then I wonder....
Thinking what flowers she would want...
But the Angels say in a thunder....

Chorus Three:

"No to roses, no to tulips, no carnations or daffodils,
She'll pull through, she's gonna make it,
This is where Heaven heals,
The Angels say to me as she recovers...
Not yet, It's Too Early For Flowers."

At the age of twelve, I fancied a young girl and wanted her to know....

Talking To My Tears

Written By: Pierre Petrou

Verse One:

What a difference a week makes,
When I think about the events of the past few days,
As I sit here all alone and wonder what to write,
To make you understand...

More bad news on the TV,
A young man shot at home, a bride stabbed to death,
To the sound that a friend has lost with the big 'C',
And today's the funeral,
I can't help but wonder that it could've been me.....

Chorus One:

And I'm Talking To My Tears,
Telling them to wait,
For another moment,
Holding them inside,
While the others cried,
It seems so senseless,
All those wasted years,
Talking To My Tears.

Verse Two:

Working too many hours,
Which means I don't have time for friends and family,
Trying to fix everything for everybody else,
And forgetting home....

Then I think about my life's path,
And that nothing is what I've slowly become,
Over time there's hardly been any fun,
So while I get depressed,
I find myself in conversation once more......

Chorus Two:

And I'm Talking To My Tears,
Living all these fears,
As the flood-gates open,
They've been waiting for so long,
Waiting for this song,
And they're over-flowing,
As they pour out in top gear,
I'm Talking To My Tears.

Bridge:

I can't see 'cos it's blurry,
The waters have blinded my lonely eyes,
There's no way that anyone could ever realise,
So I don't talk to them,
I save my explanations for the 'drops......

Chorus Three:

And so I'm Talking To My Tears,
Wishing that they'd hear,
What I'm saying,
That though I want them gone,
I just can't go on,
With no one to talk to,
But if you were only here,
I'd stop Talking To My Tears......
But I'm Talking To My Tears.
