Pinches Cuerpos

Pinches Cuerpos is an exploration of music & consciousness. We focus on creating art through improvisation and spontaneity. Rather than focusing on a single genre or sound, PC explores diverse textures and styles of music. From Electro-Rock to organic guitar pop, PC has its finger on the pulse.

Pinches Cuerpos was founded in Nuevo Laredo, MX as the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Beto Chapa. He began experimenting with home recording at an early age. At the time, the only tools available to him were a Walkman tape recorder and an $8 Radio Shack microphone. Since then, Pinches Cuerpos' music and recording style have evolved, and continue to change from one project to the next.

All of Pinches Cuerpos' music is written, recorded & produced by Chapa in his home studio, and is available for free download on myspace/pinchescuerpos and www.pinchescuerpos.com.

Their innovative marketing techniques have allowed Pinches Cuerpos to generate some underground buzz through online networks, grass-roots campaigns, and slive performances. Chapa is aware that, in order to be taken seriously as an independent artist, you must have an attractive concept, and be willing to share it with the world.

In an effort to get their music to as many listeners as possible, Pinches Cuerpos encourages everyone to download albums and samplers for free, and share with their friends. So far, this has allowed Pinches Cuerpos' unique blend of music to be heard all over the world through downloads, radio support, and inclusion in compilations and films.

We are currently promoting our latest album, Digital Lo-Fi and looking for management, and/or recording contract.
