Jeff Letendre
Singer Songwriter 28 years old

1999 : Undertakes private vocal lessons, start playing guitar.

2000 : Moves to London UK, Studies English, music and meet with Dean Dyson, one of BMG’s staff writer

2001 :Records first album with Dean. Promotes it to different venues in London with the Dean Dyson band. Meets with Sony Canada’s A&R David Quilico in Toronto to discuss a deal.

2002 : Jeff goes solo and decides to form his own original Rock band.

2003-2004 : Writing, singing, playing and showcasing with many different musicians.

2005: Returns to Canada, Montreal. Builds a home studio and starts working on his first album. Performs at Le St-denis for the Gala Révélation.

2006 : Forms the first Pineapple’s line up with Yannick Blanchet and Pascal Tessier who now play with the very successful band KAIN.

2007 : Remi Letendre replaces Pascal on guitar and Eric Belisle replaces Yannick on drums. Shooting of the video clip “The King”. First Pineapple gigs in local bars. First radio interview at radio energy 92.1.

2008 : Release of the EP Tremors. Bass player Benoit Soucy joins the band along with guitarist Richard Boisvert. The band moves their headquarters at the RCA center. More gigs. More songs

2009: Planning to take the band to the next level.

Richard Boisvert
Born the 20th of August 1983
Lead guitar and back vocals

- Started playing at age 10.
- Goes to many Blues jam sessions at age 17.
- Joins the Junkyard Dogs in June 2001. Many shows in Quebec’s Blues scene.
- Release of « Bow Wow » form the Junkyard Dogs in September 2002 on TR Mafia Records. Produced by Steve Hill.
- Guitarist for Steve Hill’s Domino tour during January through August 2003. Many big shows including the Montreal Jazz Fest on the big stage and the opening for Joe Cocker at Woodstock en Beauce.
- Joins the French rock band Nitrosonique, in February 2004. EP released in 2005.
- Release of « Les Portes Barrées » from the Junkyard Dogs in June 2004 on Indica Records.
- Joins Flip Top Box in august 2004, a Johnny Cash tribute. Many shows in Western Festivals like the St-Tite Western Festival two years in a row on big stages.
- Guitarist for Michel Pagliaro on his 2006 tour.
- Guitarist and bassist for Ricky Paquette in 2006. Opened for Buddy Guy at the Ottawa Blues Fest. Also opened for Simple Plan in front of more than 100 000 people.
- Joins Jonathan Painchaud for the « Qu’on se lève » tour in June 2007. More than 130 shows played since then.
- In 2008, joins Buddy McNeil And The Magic Mirrors, Medecine Chest and also Modeen, who showcased at NXNE 2008.
- Joins the Steve Hill Band in August 2008 to back Quebec artist Jean Leloup on his comeback after 5 years.
- Joins Pineapple in 2008.
- More than 600 shows since 2001.

Benoit Soucy
Bass player
25 years old

1995 : Starts playing electric guitar. Self-taught

1998 : Forms a punk rock band with school mates.

2000 : Involved in the local punk rock scene.(Rimouski) Takes part in many concerts and starts playing the bass.

2001 : Full time bass player for the indie Rock formation foreplay.

2002 : Birth of a new hard rock project Virgin mary.

2003 : Moves to Montreal

2003 : 2004 : Plays bass for the rock/ sludge/ noise project Phoque along with Navajo Code talkers, Dutch oven and Squalor members. Recording of a jam, edited into an album.

2005 :Joins grunge rock band Nitrosonic. Hundreds of gig later they recorded a first EP and performed at Les Francofolies de Montréal. TV interviews followed with articles on the band in le Journal de Montréal.

2008 : Joins the rock/alternative group Modeen. Some studio work, many gigs in Montreal, Toronto and Quebec. Shooting of a music video.

2008 : Becomes Pineapple’s bass player.
