The Pine Valley Rhythm Jumpers are influenced by traditional country musicians, Al Dexter, Moon Mullican, Lattie Moore, Sleepy LaBeef, Faron Young, Bill Anderson and more. Their hillbilly boogie sound is also very much inspired by bands from outside the U.S. like The Flatfoot Shakers and The Round Up Boys giving their jumping rhythm the momentum from country to early rock'n'roll.
