Pink Baby - The Little Band That ROCKS! Pink Baby was born in 2004 when Suzen Carson moved to Connecticut and met Laura DeLallo, "I was amazed to find a strong female vocalist that shared the same passion for singing as I had!" The two began jamming with others, but mostly played out as an acoustic duo for a year before Laura decided she needed to HIT something. The addition of a full drum kit added a lot of punch to the duo, but still something was missing. In 2005, they found Steven Werner, and were happy to find that he is not only an extremely gifted musician, playing smooth melodies on his bass, but he also is a very smooth dude and works very well between two strong women. The three bonded quickly and still have a great friendship and chemistry which comes across in the performance. This is a band that is professional, fun, knows what you want to hear and is eager to please.
Pink Baby is a 4 piece band performing a very diverse selection of rock and pop music from 1960 to 2008. We'll even throw in some country if you like.
The group is comprised of an acoustic guitar, a bass guitar, a full drum kit, and 2 accomplished female vocalists, alternating powerful lead vocals with strong harmonies. The result is a pleasant blend of clear vocals, driving bass and drums, perfectly layered guitars, and a raw, personal, organic sound. You can hear the words. You can see what the musicians are doing. You can talk to your friends over the music if you like. You’ll sing along. You can dance if you want to. And you will want to.
The material ranges almost absurdly from Linda Rondstadt to Stone Temple Pilots, Britney Spears to White Stripes, with a few originals thrown in.
Pink Baby is well suited for large and small venues, bars, clubs, restaurants and private parties.
